Jennifer Grooms, 37, of West Union, Ohio passed away on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at the Adams County Regional Medical Center in Seaman, Ohio. She was born May 10, 1981 in West Union. She was preceded in death by her father, Freddie Yates; brother, Freddie Ray Yates, son, Dillion Grooms and daughter-in-law, Haley Grooms.
Jennifer is survived by her children, Summer Grooms (Caleb Stephenson) of West Union, and Alexis Grooms (Eric Hurley) of Manchester, Ohio; mother, Bonnie Collins of West Union; ex-husband, Jake Grooms of West Union; brother Eric Yates of Cincinnati, Ohio; granddaughter, Kenzleigh Hurley, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Lafferty Funeral Home, Inc., P.O. Box 5, West Union, Ohio 45693.
The visitation is from 11 am until 1pm Monday, February 18, 2019 at Lafferty Funeral Home in West Union. According to Jennifer’s wishes, she will be cremated.
