WANDA MCGRAW SHIVELEY

June 21, 1940 - December 17, 2020

Wanda McGraw Shiveley, age 80, of Rome in Adams County, Ohio, died, Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth.  Wanda was born June 21, 1940 in Adams County.  She was preceded by parents, William Kepp and Etta Cora (Chamblin) Horsley; first husband, Oscar McGraw; second husband Carlos Shiveley; one son, Oscar Lee McGraw; three brothers: Jackie, William and Robert Horsley; two sisters: Rosie and Pearl Horsley.

Wanda is survived by two loving sons: Alex (Nancy) McGraw of Vanceburg, Kentucky and Arthur Dean (Paula) McGraw of West Union; four loving daughters: Caroline Heisler of Rome, Sarah Sally (Joe) Ellington of Ashland, Kentucky, Paula Jane (Jeff) Bennett of Wilmington and Nancy Pauline (David) Monroe of West Union; ten grandchildren: Kamen Monroe, Kyle Monroe, Autumn Pence, Jeffery Mundhenk, Marissa Mundhenk, Trinity McGraw, Daniel Lewis, Samuel Lewis, Tabitha Jones and Rebecca Lewis and 12 great grandchildren.

Wanda was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother.  She was a member of the Rome Methodist Church for many years.  Wanda loved her family and adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She left an impact on everyone that knew her.  She will be dearly missed.

The public visitation is 12 – 2 PM Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Lafferty Funeral Home, 205 South Cherry Street, West Union, Ohio 45693.

The public funeral is 2 PM Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Lafferty Funeral Home. Pastor Terry Fite will officiate.

The public committal service will be at Copas Cemetery, on State Route 125, Blue Creek, Ohio 45616.

Caroline, you were one of Cheryl's best friends at TCH. I am sure she is looking down on you with love and compassion. I can recall meeting your mom by the elevators at Christ. Sorry for your loss. Blessings for the love and care you gave your mother.
