Thomas Rice

Thomas Rice was born September 15, 1927 at Ironton, Ohio in Lawrence County. He was a graduate of Ironton High School and a veteran of World War II having served in the U.S. Navy assigned to the U.S.S. Rawlins, APA 226, in the Pacific Theater. He was a graduate of the College of Engineering of the University of Michigan.
Thomas is preceded in death by parents: Alvin M. and Hattie L. (Crawford) Rice; one daughter, Patricia Rice; one sister, Virginia Rubish and four brothers: John Rice, Alvin Rice, James Rice and George Rice.
Thomas is survived by his loving wife, Clara E. Rice of Peebles; one son, Robert L. Rice of Peebles; two daughters: Kathleen (Gary) Schembs of New Port Richey, Florida and Ellen Letizia of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin and four grandchildren.
Mr. Rice will be cremated. There are no services at this time.
