Kathleen Elsie Morrison

September 3, 1925 - December 1, 2022

Kathleen Elsie Morrison, 97, of Manchester, Ohio passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at her daughter’s residence in Sciotoville. She was born September 3, 1925 in Monroe Township.  She is preceded in death by parents: Carey and Velma Grooms; husband, Virgil Morrison; one son: Denver Morrison; one grandson, Mark Morrison; two sisters: Edith Davis and Betty Harmon and two brothers: Loran Grooms and Willard Grooms.

Kathleen is survived by two sons: Carey (Judy) Morrison of Manchester, and Willard Morrison of Manchester; two daughters: Scarlett Schatz of West Chester, and Jennifer Lemaster (Nelson Krueger) of Sciotoville; seven grandchildren;  seven great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.

Kathleen adored her family. She was a wonderful mother and homemaker. She was employed by Hercules Trouser Company for 43 years.  She will be deeply missed.

The public visitation is 6-9 PM Monday, December 5, 2022 at Lafferty Funeral Home Incorporated, 205 South Cherry Street, West Union, Ohio 45693.

The public funeral is 1 PM Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at Lafferty Funeral Home Incorporated. Pastor Boyd Young will officiate.

The public interment is at Morrison Cemetery, Germany Hill Road, Manchester, Ohio 45144.
