Joseph Donald Starrett, 63, of Aberdeen, Ohio went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at University of Cincinnati Medical Center. He was born October 21, 1958 in Brown County, Ohio. He is preceded in death by parents: Donald William Starrett, Sr. and Sandra Jo Whitehurst Starrett; grandparents: Adrienne Meridith and Willa Mae Starrett; brother-in-law, Denny Fenner and beloved cat Cosmo.
Joe is survived by four siblings: Lucinda “Cindy” Fenner, Valerie L. (Ben) Ferguson, Donnie (Cindy Reed) Starrett II, and Belinda (Dion) Jones; eight nieces and nephews: Holly (Jon) Trotter, Sam (Leslie) Ferguson, Donnie (Heather) Starrett III, Wes (Megan) Bailey, Tabitha (Brent) Thayer, Tyler (Tika) Schwallie, Landon Schwallie and Adison (Sabastian) Starrett and several great nieces, nephews and friends.
Joe enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, gardening and bicycling in his early years. Later in life he enjoyed playing video games, watching tv and spending time with family and friends. He loved to laugh and joke; he always had a smile on his face. He will be missed by all who knew him.
The private visitation and funeral will be held at the convenience of the family.
