
Jackie Lee White
Jackie Lee White, 85, of West Union, Ohio died Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at the Christ Hospital in Cincinnati. Jackie was born October 25, 1939 to the late Henry Otis and Josephine (Quinlan) White. Jackie was preceded by parents and two sons: Jerry White and Danny White and one son in law, Dennis Pettit. Jack is survived by wife, Elenor (Nehus) White of 69 years; one son, Henry (Sharon) White of Seaman; two daughters, Pam Pettit and Theresa White, both of West Union; seven grandchildren: Michael (Emily) Holbrook, Michelle (Steve) Wilson, Clint (Heidi) White, Tina Jones, Jeremy White, Jenny White and Jessica (Jamie) Turner; one sister, Janie (Johnnie) Brown of Seaman; numerous great and great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Jack was a cattle farmer and ran a sawmill. He was always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need. He spent 70 years of his life with Elenor and together they built a beautiful life and shared a love like no other. Jack loved draft horses and tending to his mule and always had a project of some sort. He attended Eckmansville Church and had a strong faith. It is no doubt he is with our Lord and will be missed by all his family and friends.
The Visitation is 11 AM until 1PM Thursday, October 16, 2025 at Lafferty Funeral Home in West Union.
The Funeral is 1 PM Thursday, October 16, 2025 at Lafferty Funeral Home. Pastor Vernon Shiveley will officiate
The Interment is Thursday at Kirker Cemetery in Liberty Township in Adams County.
