Franklin Charles Mathews

Franklin C. Mathews, age 56, of Lucasville, Ohio, formerly of Seaman, passed away Monday, November 20, 2023 at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth. He was born September 19, 1967 in West Union. He is preceded by parents: Joe and Verda (Storer) Mathews; one brother-in-law, Jim Winn; one niece, Diana Sue Lindquester and one uncle, Edward Franklin Storer.
Franklin is survived by three sisters: Mary Winn of West Union, Tabitha Ward of Lucasville and Donna Mathews of West Union; and one brother, Minor (Debbie) Mathews of West Union.
Franklin was a graduate of North Adams High School. He had a big heart, he loved his family and truly cared about people. He enjoyed working on cars and will be missed by all who knew him.
The visitation is 5 -7 pm Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at Lafferty Funeral Home Incorporated, 205 South Cherry Street, West Union, Ohio 45693.
The funeral service is 1 pm Thursday, November 30, 2023 at Lafferty Funeral Home Incorporated.
The interment is Thursday, November 30, 2023 at West Union Cemetery, 9522 State Route 125, West Union, Ohio 45693.
