I had the distinct honor and genuine privilege of serving on the Southern State Community College Board of Trustees with Ernie. We both represented Adams County on that board almost 20 years ago. Ernie was a wonderful influence on my service. He truly cared about the college and the communities it served. Requiesce in pace.

Bill,Deloris and Brianna, I know it is so hard to lose a parent and grandparent. My heart goes out to you. A verse in Psalms 116:15 keeps coming to my mind these days that I hope is a comfort to you. “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.”
