Dorothy Piatt

Dorothy Florence Piatt, 87, of West Union, Ohio, died Thursday, October 23, 2025 at Eagle Creek Nursing Center in West Union, Ohio. Dorothy was born May 1, 1939 in Tiffin Township in Adams County. Dorothy was preceded by father, Chester Stanley Piatt and mother, Myrtle Mae (Rothwell) Piatt.

Dorothy is survived by cousins: Diana Sarbell of Cherry Fork; Sandra Tully of Lynx; Junior Conn of Grove City and several other cousins.

Dorothy loved being around people and helping her surrounding neighbors.

The Interment is at 1 PM Friday, October 31, 2025 at Hamilton Cemetery in Brush Creek Township in Adams County.

Dorthy was one of the sweetest lady’s I’ve ever met, she always made my day at the alpine when she’d give me hug as soon as I walked into her room! I hope she’s rejoicing with her mom and dad whom she always talked about and missed dearly. Prayers to her family during this difficult time. ❤️
