Dolores J. Baldwin

Dolores J. Baldwin, 87, of West Union, Ohio, died Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at Meadowview Regional Medical Center.   She was born August 26, 1934 in Arnheim.  She is preceded by husband, James Baldwin; parents: Leslie and Mariba (Lawson) Vaughn; on son, Jerry Owen Baldwin, one sister, Opal Orr and one brother, Howard Vaughn.

She is survived by children; two sons: Martin Wendell (Linda) Baldwin of West Union and Kenneth Eugene (Essie) Baldwin of West Union; three daughters: Garnet Faith (Randy) Rothwell of West Union, Nanette Poteet (Terry) Crager of Ewing, Kentucky and Regina Baldwin of West Union; two brothers: Thomas Vaughn of Cincinnati and Charles Vaughn of Sardinia; 13 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.

Dolores was a 1952 graduate of West Union High School.  She spent over 40 years as a housekeeper in the West Union area as well as tobacco farming and was a devout Baptist that enjoyed embroidery and loved her family.

The public visitation is 12 – 2 PM Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Lafferty Funeral Home Incorporated, 205 South Cherry Street, West Union, Ohio 45693.

The public funeral is 2 PM Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Lafferty Funeral Home Incorporated. Pastor Clarence Abbott will officiate.

The public interment is at West Union Cemetery, 9522 State Route 125, West Union, Ohio 45693

Lafferty Funeral Home Incorporated is serving the family.
