Rachel Ann Hayslip
Rachel Ann Hayslip, 57, of West Union, Ohio, passed away peacefully Sunday, February 1, 2026 in the Hospice Unit of the Adams County Regional Medical Center in Seaman. Rachel was born October 8, 1968 in Tiffin Township in Adams County. Rachel was preceded by mother, Lois Ann Holsinger; husband, Manford "Buck" Hayslip; one sister, Angela Holsinger, grandparents; Luther and Audrey Sheppard; Cecil and Clara Tomlin.
Rachel is survived by her father Larry Ray Tomlin (Hazel) of West Union, one son, David Justin Howell (Patty) of Garrison, Kentucky, one daughter Keri Lee Butler (Kenneth) of Peebles, one step daughter Pamela Barret (Earlon), two step sons; Tony Hayslip (LaDonna) of West Union, Mark Hayslip of West Union; three sisters; Misty Newbauer (Matt) of West Union, Angela Tomlin of West Union, Sonya Arden (Kevin) of Lynx; six grandchildren, Justin James Howell, Jerrica Jean Howell, LeOnna Deanne Howell, Hayven Lee Howell, Kloey Jean Butler, Kaylena Ann Butler: seven step-grandchildren and five step-great grandchildren many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Rachel loved to color and craft, listen to gospel music and spend time with her family. She attended Riverside Church and currently Aberdeen Main Cross Church.
The Visitation is 5 until 7 PM Monday, February 9, 2026 at Lafferty Funeral Home in West Union.
The Funeral is 1 PM Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at Lafferty Funeral Home in West Union. Pastor David Benjamin will officiate.
The Interment is at the Moore's Chapel Cemetery in Blue Creek.
