Roger Lee Hayslip, Sr.

December 5, 1956 - October 24, 2020

Roger Lee Hayslip, Sr., 63, of Blue Creek, Ohio, died Saturday, October 24, 2020 at Meadowview Regional Medical Center in Maysville, Kentucky.  He was born December 5, 1956 in Blue Creek. He was preceded by parents, Lile and Bessie (Graham) Hayslip; one son, Christopher Hayslip and one brother, Manfred Buck Hayslip.

Roger is survived by wife, Kimberly Mae (Miller) Hayslip of Blue Creek; four sons: Dennis (April) Welch of Manchester, Roger (Melinda) Hayslip, Jr., Evan (Elizabeth) Hayslip of West Union and Curtis (Sadie) of San Antonio, Texas; two daughters: Jennifer Cantrell of Maysville and Sarah Hayslip of Peebles; one brother, Randy (Sandy) Hayslip of West Union; four sisters: Carol Fetters of West Union, Linda (Dick) Bevins of West Union, Sherry Rogers of West Union and Rosie (Buck) Miller of Peebles; 13 grandchildren: Dennis Jr. (Jayanne), Kaitlynn, Kaylee (James), Mason, Brookelynn, Karah, Ariel, Little Richard, Maybelle, Kiana, Beau, Mariah, and Carter; one great-grandson, Kashton; one uncle, Burt Hayslip; three aunts: Roxie (Bill) Royster, Peggy (Charles) Grooms and Marshalynn (Ronnie) Miller; special friends: Rex and Joyce Setty, Kelly Grooms, Patricia Funk, Amber, Andrea, Anabelle and Keaton Grooms along with many nieces and nephews and cousins.

His hobbies included fishing, hunting, digging ginseng and yellowroot and spending time with family and friends.

The public graveside visitation is 2 – 3 pm Friday, October 30, 2020 at Moore’s Chapel Cemetery, 2646 Wintersteen Run Rd, Blue Creek, OH 45616.

The public graveside funeral is at 3 pm Friday, October 30, 2020 at Moore’s Chapel Cemetery.  Pastor Pete Francis will officiate.

So sorry Kim and family I know Roger always was good friends with dad. The best of friends he was a good person always thought a lot of youns rember my first car I got it from Roger never forget that prayers I m so so sorry I know mom didn't want anyone to cut her hair but u love you moon
